The Board of Polar Capital Technology Trust plc announced the appointment of two new independent non-executive Directors. Jane Pearce and Catherine Cripps will be appointed with effect from 6 September 2021. Jane Pearce is an experienced non-executive director and Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' financial markets experience. She is currently a non-executive director of Shires Income plc and a Co-opted External Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the University of St Andrews. Catherine Cripps is currently a non-executive director of Goldman Sachs International, Goldman Sachs International Bank and the Nuclear Liabilities Fund (NLF) Limited. She also acts as Chair of the Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs International Bank Board Risk Committees and is a member of the Audit Committees and she is also Chair of the Investment Committee of NLF. She has recently stepped down as non-executive director of CQS Management Limited after 8 years of service Chairing the Remuneration Committee and the Performance Management Committee and as a member of the CQS Audit Committee. A resolution proposing the election of Ms Pearce and Mrs. Cripps as non-executive directors will be put to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held in or around September 2022.
