Office of Competition and Consumer Protection's approval to establish joint entrepreneur CCGT Ostrołęka by PGNiG, PKN ORLEN and Energa

Further to Current Report No. 66/2020 of December 22nd 2020, regarding execution of investment agreement on rules governing cooperation in construction of gas-fired power generation unit at Ostrołęka C Power Plant, the Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA ('PGNiG') reports on receiving on April 14th 2021 the decision issued by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection on approval for the creation by PKN ORLEN S.A., Energa SA and PGNiG of the joint venture, i.e. CCGT Ostrołęka Sp. z o.o. ('the Company'), established for the purposes of the project to construct the gas-fired power generation unit.
PGNiG will join the Company after fulfilling the conditions presented in the above-mentioned investment agreement, which include, inter alia, obtaining relevant corporate approvals.
