Porto Seguro S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was BRL 7,549.98 million compared to BRL 5,583.81 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 272.74 million compared to BRL 60.1 million a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was BRL 20,079.95 million compared to BRL 15,586.23 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 579.23 million compared to BRL 1,011.44 million a year ago.
Porto Seguro SA is a Brazil-based company primarily engaged in the automobile insurance sector. The Company's activities are divided into six business segments: Car insurance, which offers automobile insurance products; Health insurance and plans, which provides health and dental insurance policies and healthcare plans; Life insurance and pension plan, which includes life insurance products and management of pension plans; Other insurance, which provides other non-life insurance policies; Financing, which is involved in the credit transactions, and Other, which mainly includes insurance services provided in Uruguay.
