Liesbeth Kaashoek, Director of Parcels and Logistics at PostNL, says: 'This parcel sorting centre will soon obtain the Outstanding BREAAM certificate, which demonstrates that it is a sustainable building exerting minimal environmental impact. With this goal in mind, the measures being taken by PostNL include investment in the most sustainable materials, the installation of solar panels and waste heat recovery systems. The building is also gas-free. This makes it one of the most sustainable logistics buildings, which is something we are extremely proud of.'
