This year, the King's Games' sports & party parcel contains a dial with playing cards, footbags and a face painting crayon. There is a parcel for each participating class. The Dutch King Willem-Alexander, who becomes 50 this year, will launch the day with Queen Máxima at De Vijfmaster primary school in Veghel on Friday 21 April. PostNL is also delivering a King's Games' parcel to this primary school.

The King's Games' parcel route

The King's Games' parcels will be sorted at PostNL parcel sorting centres in Amersfoort and Halfweg, where the more than 6,500 parcels will pass over the conveyor belt for distribution to over 5,500 schools in the Netherlands. In the weeks starting 3 and 10 April, almost every PostNL parcel deliverers will deliver one or more King's Games' parcels to a primary school in the Netherlands. The King's Games are also celebrated at 126 Dutch schools in Japan, Australia, the United States, Aruba and 50 other countries. PostNL is also distributing King's Games' parcels to schools abroad in cooperation with the Foundation for Dutch Education Worldwide
