PostNL nominates Jeroen Hoencamp and Ad Melkert as member of the Supervisory Board

The Hague, 13 December 2019 - The Supervisory Board of PostNL nominates Jeroen Hoencamp and Ad Melkert as members of the Supervisory Board for a period of four years, replacing Frank Rövekamp and Jacques Wallage. The proposal to appoint Ad Melkert has been made in accordance with the enhanced recommendation right of the Central Works Council. Both nominations will be scheduled for approval by the shareholders of PostNL at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in April 2020.

Jeroen Hoencamp is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) VodafoneZiggo, the Dutch joint venture of Vodafone The Netherlands and Ziggo. For over 20 years Hoencamp fulfilled various senior management positions within Vodafone such CEO of Vodafone Netherlands, Ireland and Great Britain.

Ad Melkert is currently, inter alia, chairman of the Dutch Association of Hospitals and Extraordinary Councillor at the Council of State. Previously he served as Dutch Member of Parliament, Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, Executive Director at the World Bank and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations.
