Postnl N.V. Proposes Final Dividend for 2018, Payable on May 10, 2019

PostNL N.V. proposed dividend for 2018 of EUR 0.24 per share, subject to approval by AGM on 16 April 2019 against EUR 0.23 per share paid in 2017. The company announced that EUR 0.07 per share was paid as interim dividend in August 2018. After approval by the AGM, the final dividend of EUR 0.17 will be paid, at the shareholder's election, either in ordinary PostNL shares or in cash (default). The proposed dividend will be payable as of 10 May 2019. Ex-dividend date is 18 April 2019. Record date is 23 April 2019.
PostNL N.V. specializes in supplying mail, parcels and e-commerce services. The company also provides services in the area of data and document management, direct marketing and fulfilment. Net sales (including intragroup) break down by activity as follows:
- parcel delivery (58.3%): in 2023, PostNL N.V. delivered 343 million parcels in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg;
- mail delivery in the Netherlands (35.4%): 1,745 million postal items processed in 2023;
- other (6.3%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the Netherlands (85.3%), Europe (8.5%) and other (6.2%).
