The Board of Directors of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited at their meeting held on 8th August, 2024, has considered and approved the appointment of Shri Naveen Srivastava (DIN:10158134) as Director (Operations), of the Company in pursuance of Ministry of Power Order No. 25-11/5/2023-PG dated 8th August, 2024. Shri Naveen Srivastava has assumed charge on 8th August, 2024. The said appointment will be effective till the date of his superannuation i.e. November 30, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Shri Naveen Srivastava (57 years), (DIN: 10158134), is B-Tech in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur in First Class with Honors. He began his professional career in 1989 as an Executive Trainee in NTPC. He has been associated with POWERGRID since its inception in 1991 and has worked at many positions and as Executive Director -
North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project (NERPSIP), Guwahati. Presently, he is serving as an ED (OSD), Operations, POWERGRID. Shri Srivastava has more than 35 years of work experience in power sector handling various multi-disciplinary functions like Planning, Construction, Monitoring of Transmission Systems, SCADA, Commercial, Business Development and Operation & Maintenance of Extra High Voltage Transmission System.
