In response to media reports about a pilot project between Carrefour and other suppliers of digital store solutions, price labeling company Pricer wishes to clarify that it has had a long-standing partnership with Carrefour for over 20 years, with installations in more than 1,700 stores, and that the exclusive agreement signed between the parties in 2023 remains in force without change. This is stated in a press release.

The agreement with Carrefour gives Pricer exclusive rights to supply solutions based on electronic shelf labels for a period of three years. This includes both new installations and replacement of existing systems, with the aim of optimizing automation and communication at the store shelf.

"It is common practice in the retail industry for leading players to test and evaluate new technology from several suppliers. Pricer sees this as a natural part of an industry in constant development and will continue to deliver according to the agreement with Carrefour," the company writes.
