We would like to inform our customers that Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. (PBZ) will stop providing services related to acceptance and cash-in of foreign currency checks after July 31, 2019. Should you receive funds from abroad through checks, after July 31, 2019 it will not be possible to cash them in PBZ any longer. Continued are information helping you to adjust your business activities in time.

NATURAL PERSONS - CONSUMERS

Foreign currency inflow, instead through checks, may be received into a transaction account opened with the Bank by means of a payment order issued by the payer.

To enable such possibility after the aforementioned date, the payer from which you receive checks should be informed about the Payment instruction containing your foreign currency transaction account IBAN, by means of which the payer may direct the funds into your account by a payment order instead of the check.
If you receive your pension or other regular income through checks, we would like to draw your attention that the payer should be informed about your foreign currency transaction account IBAN, so that your pension from abroad could be directed into your PBZ account by means of a payment order. The Information about the IBAN payment instruction for payments into foreign currency transaction accounts may be obtained in any branch office of the Bank.

Similarly, if you use on-line banking services, you may download the Information about the IBAN payment instruction for payments into foreign currency transaction account through the PBZ digital banking, PBZ365@NET, mPBZ.

If you do not have a foreign currency transaction account, you may agree it in all branch offices of the Bank and thus dispose of monetary funds in a more flexible way. In addition to branch offices, then it is possible to dispose of the funds through other distribution channels of the Bank by means of the internationally accepted banking card enabling you to pay for the goods and/or services at points-of-sale and/or remotely and/or to withdraw and/or deposit cash and/or to use other ATM or other device services and to transfer funds. The Bank charges an account management fee as expressed in the Bank's Tariff - Fees in providing services to domestic and foreign natural persons - citizens, defining the fee amounts in providing services to natural persons - consumers.
