Proact has signed a framework agreement with AI Sweden, the Swedish national centre for applied artificial intelligence. The agreement gives Proact the opportunity to participate in the continued expansion of AI Sweden's national resource for introducing AI to new application areas, such as decentralised learning.

The new framework agreement will apply for future procurements of products and services for The Data Factory, a national resource operated by AI Sweden together with some 100 partners. Partners are invited to the centre for collaboration on prototype development, demonstration and knowledge exchange, with the objective to accelerate AI implementation in Sweden.

"We are happy to work with suppliers and partners who combine AI expertise with the ability to support us locally with cutting-edge products, solutions and services. As AI technology is developing so rapidly, it is especially important that we can tap into the experience that our framework agreement suppliers have already gathered," says Mats Nordlund, acting Head of Data Factory at AI Sweden.

The first procurements planned under the framework agreement will be made to strengthen and enhance the Edge Lab, a world-leading test bed within AI Sweden's Data Factory established in collaboration with leading Swedish and international tech companies. The Edge Lab conducts tests, joint experiments and development of next-generation AI technology for decentralised learning.

Based on its cutting-edge expertise in data management, Proact has developed a broad range of solutions for advanced AI, with high-performance infrastructure and complementary services.

"AI Sweden has an important mission as an enabler for practical applications of AI technology. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with them and other partners, where we work together to lower the bar for using AI productively, while we help organisations in all sectors to build their AI skills," says Lena Eskilsson, Managing Director of Proact Sweden.

Proact is well established as an AI partner for business and academia in the Nordic region. Previous customer assignments include projects at several of the leading AI research centres in the Nordics, including at Linköping University (AIDA), Örebro University and Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland.

Proact's market-leading offering for state-of-the-art AI platforms and data management is also based on active partnerships with leading AI technology vendors, including Dell, NetApp and Nvidia.
