P&G has named Carolyn Tastad CEO of its global health care business, and promoted Monica Turner to president of P&G North America as her successor. Both promotions took effect in August. Tastad was named global customer business development officer in 2014, and then group president of North America the following year. In 2016 she became the executive sponsor for gender equality at P&G and added the title of chief sales officer in 2019. In 2020 she was named to the newly created role of president of sales for North America. As president of P&G's North America business, she oversees the company's large and most profitable region, which accounts for 47% of net sales, serving more than 370 million consumers. Turner serves on P&G's corporate women's leadership team as chair of the Network of Executive Women, and as a member of the Catalyst Advisory Board. Turner also serves on the boards of the University of Cincinnati and the Mercy Hospital System. Maisha Webster has been appointed senior vice president and head of sales in North America succeeding Turner. She joined P&G in 1997 and most recently served as the senior vice president for Walgreens and P&G's U.S. drug customers.
