Profoto Holding AB (publ) reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 235 million compared to SEK 189 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 242 million compared to SEK 193 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 54 million compared to SEK 45 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 1.34 compared to SEK 1.11 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was SEK 618 million compared to SEK 514 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 641 million compared to SEK 522 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 130 million compared to SEK 98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 3.24 compared to SEK 2.45 a year ago.
Profoto Holding AB (publ) is a Sweden-based parent of the international group, which offers lighting products for professional photographers. Profoto invents, markets and sells lighting systems for professional photography, such as flashes and light shaping tools. The Company develops its product offerings by launching products with AirX technology as well as hybrid products for on-location photographers who shoot both photos and video. Profoto's products combine hardware and software, that the Company sells through dealers. The end users are professional photographers and commercial customers, including consumer brands and e-commerce companies. The company is represented in over 60 markets globally. The subsidiaries are tasked with serving primarliy as sales companies.
