MIDLAND, Texas (AP) _ ProPetro Holding Corp. (PUMP) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $29.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Midland, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 29 cents.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 18 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 25 cents per share.

The oilfield services company posted revenue of $133.7 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Seventeen analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $137.4 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $4.18. A year ago, they were trading at $7.75.
