Amsterdam, 1 December 2021 - Prosus was presented with the Highest Newcomer award at the digital Kristalprijs ceremony held on 30 November 2021. The award was presented by Monika Milz, the chair of the jury. Milz: "We as a jury felt your report gave strong insights into the many areas [Prosus] is active in as a firm. We feel your [Prosus's] entrance is a splendid entrance in those high ranks."

Prajna Khanna, Global Head of Sustainability at Prosus and Naspers attended the Kristalprijsuitreiking on behalf of Prosus to receive the award. "On behalf of Prosus, I would like to thank the jury for recognising our efforts. At Prosus, we remain completely committed to enhanced transparency, because it helps map our own contribution to climate action and all the interconnected social impacts."

Transparency Benchmark is a study of the qualitative and quantitative development of corporate social reporting among the largest companies in the Netherlands. The 2021 jury theme was 'Transparency about the impact of climate factors in connection to other global challenges.'

Prosus's award is based on its inaugural Transparency Benchmark score of 73, out of 100. Prosus is among the top 40 most transparent companies among the 500 largest Dutch companies.
