PSP Swiss Property rents the "Elephant" to Gotham, a co-working provider

Following this letting, the former bottling facility (called "Elephant") - of the former brewery on the Gurten site in Bern - is fully let.

The location next to the train station of Wabern near Bern fits ideally Gotham's plans. Gotham rents the whole building and will open a unique meeting and collaboration center in summer 2019. The space consisting of 5'500 m2 will offer around 400 working places and an event area for more than 600 people. In addition to the classic co-working offer, Gotham intends to operate also a music lab and an artist's workshop.

The importance of co-working continues to grow. PSP Swiss Property has been involved in this segment for quite some time. Through this new lettings, PSP Swiss Property strengthens its expertise in this interesting segment.

PSP Swiss Property owns the Gurten site since 2004. The tenant mix profits substantially through this letting, thus the site gains of attractiveness. Besides the Gurten site, PSP Swiss Property owns another twelve properties consisting of around 43'000 m2 letting area in Bern.
