Unilever Indonesia Tbk. held 'A Step to the Global Confidence' event at the Economics Faculty of Universitas Indonesia on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. This event created by Rexona to share tips for students to face global competitive work, with various workshops such as Career Coach Session, Interpersonal Clinic, CV Clinic and Power Character and Job Fair.

In this globalization era, the existence of expatriates or foreign workers (TKA) will not be prevented, especially with the implementation of the Asean China Free Trade Agreement (AC-FTA). Every year, there are about 50 thousand TKA in Indonesia who work in various sectors.

Therefore, college must prepares the students with all matters relating to work so they will be ready to face the free market, intellectuals and more competitive with foreign workers. With the best education support, qualified skills and confidence will produce students who are ready for the free market.

PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, Senior Brand Manager Rexona, Satria Utama, said that self-confidence as one of the main assets to compete internationally. "There are various provisioning that students must have to face global competition of free market. They must have high enthusiasm and energy in achieving these ideals. This energy and enthusiasm also must be supported with an excellent appearance. Many people not realizes, in the way to face global competition, we often experience stress and emotional state which would trigger of sweating in the underarm, therefore, very important that we maintain our appearance in order to remain free from sweat.

Moreover, there are several Indonesian workers who are not ready to compete in local or even global context. "The Indonesian workers are university graduates who are not yet ready to face global competition and the absorption of rate job vacancy was below 10% in 2010. They have deficiencies in three areas: self-confidence, divergent thinking, and communication skills, "said Career Coach, Rene Suhardono.

This statement also confirmed by Ruth Abraham, psychologist also said that, "The biggest competition for youth generation today is global competition. To achieve success, they need self-confidence, dreams, passion, and attitude. Students also need to equip themselves with 3B; Brain, Beauty and Behavior. "
