Jakarta, 13 Juni 2011 –POND’S understands that every teenagers always have a passion to be a spotlight. That is why POND’S Teens Concert (PTC) will be held again this year in a form and concept that will fulfill their wish with a theme ”Jadilah Bintang Bersama Idolamu”. POND’S Teens Concert is an annual event held by POND’S Facial Foam since 2009 and has been attended with 150 thousand of youth.

PTC 2011 will be held in three big cities in Indonesia, which is Medan, June 18th, at Brimob Field, presenting Afgan, Nidji, The Changcuters, Lyla, Sm*sh, Geisha, and GAC. Next, in Surabaya on July 2nd, at Tambak Sari stadion, presenting Afgan, Nidji, Kotak, The Changcuters, J-Rocks, Sm*sh, and GAC. Meanwile, the final concert of PTC 2011 will be held in Jakarta on July 16th at Field D Senayan, presenting Afgan, Nidji, The Changcuters, Kotak, J-Rocks, Killing Me Inside, GAC, The Sigit, and surely international artist perfomance, David Archuleta.
Commenting about its participation in the PTC this year, Gamaliel, a member of GAC, said: "We are very pleased to be able to involve and enliven the POND'S Teens Concert this year. This event is different from other music events. POND'S Teens Concert facilitates the youth with positive things and gives them opportunities to become a star with their idol.
Regarding the concept this year, the PTC campaign is different from previous concerts. This year, POND'S also inspire and facilitate the youth to reach for the existence and popularity in the music and digital world through PTC Spotlight Video Competition in April and May.
"PTC tries to facilitate the youth through the social network and POND'S Teens Concert Spotlight Video Competition with two categories of Video Nyanyi Kamu and Video Gaya Kamu to search for a new talent and facilitate the interest of young people in gaining self existence," added Memor.
POND'S Teens Concert Spotlight Video Competition was held from 1 April to 31 May 2011 and there are more than 900 videos that successfully meet the requirements of POND'S Teens Concert Spotlight Video Competition and will be selected as many as six winners in the category of Video Nyanyi Kamu and thirty winners in the category of Video Gaya Kamu. The winners will be selected based on their appearance and vocal quality. The winners of POND'S Teens Concert Spotlight Video Competition Video Nyanyi Kamu will get the opportunity to collaborate with Afghan and Nidji on stage at POND'S Teens Concert where the concert takes place and the winner of Video Gaya Kamu video will be showed during the concert, in front of tens of thousands teenagers in Medan, Surabaya and Jakarta.
POND'S Teens Concert also provides opportunities to the youth to show their talents and gain popularity in digital through a program called What to Wear to PTC with one of PTC 2011 Digital Ambassador, Diana Rikasari. Through What To Wear to PTC, the winners have a chance to express their talents in fashion and gain popularity in digital because their picture will be published not only inwww.myponds.net/pondsteensconcert, but also in Diana Rikasari’s a personal blog, (www.dianarikasari.blogspot.com) which is the number one blog in Indonesia.
