At the XIV People Investor Forum held in Moscow, representatives of the Managers Association presented MMK with a letter of appreciation "For the development of human resources and high achievements in labour productivity growth".

"We increase labour productivity year after year, and this would not be possible without working together with our employees," notes Oleg Kiykov, MMK's Director of Human Resources, "The overall economic efficiency of MMK Group depends on the skills of our personnel, their ability to work as a team and their enthusiasm. As such, every day we do our best to keep our people motivated, developing and moving forward, and with them the entire company continues to progress." In 2021, MMK was ranked highest among all ferrous metallurgical companies in the 'Top 100 Russian Industrial Companies in terms of labour productivity' ranking compiled by Russian Almanac 'Production Management'.

Realising employee's potential and providing opportunities for professional growth are among the key priorities of MMK's HR policy. One of the main goals approved in MMK's Development Strategy to 2025 is the development of a corporate culture of opportunity.

In particular, MMK pays great attention to employee training in this area. The main basic training centre for MMK and its subsidiaries is the Personnel corporate training centre, which implements a multilevel system of corporate training covering all key areas of the Company's operations: technology, environment and green energy, HR, economics, information security and so on. MMK employees received more than 687,000 man-hours of corporate training in 2020.

In addition, MMK annually sends employees to leading educational centres and production companies in Russia and the world - to receive higher education and/or professional retraining, to undergo internships and to gain new experience. Such thorough work with personnel helps MMK to constantly improve the quality of its workforce and steadily increase labour productivity.
