On April 1, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Dmitry Mironov and General Director of PJSC 'Slavneft-YANOS' Nikolai Karpov signed an Addendum to the Cooperation Agreement for the current year. Every year this document defines a list of social projects financed by the largest enterprise in the region. 'Slavneft-YANOS' is one of the flagships of the Yaroslavl economy,' said Dmitry Mironov. 'And the first results of this year show that the company is successfully coping with the difficulties caused by the pandemic. This is evidenced by the growth in the number of employees and the increase in the average monthly wage. Throughout the 60 years of its existence 'Slavneft-YANOS' has set an example of business social responsibility. I have no doubts that our cooperation in this anniversary year for the enterprise will again bring the good results'. Support for health care, culture and education institutions, low-income categories of citizens and mass sports are the main areas of social investments of PJSC 'Slavneft-YANOS'. So, in the near future, the enterprise's assistance will be directed to the clinical hospital No. 2 to finance the project for the installation of an oxygen ramp and a set of activities to ensure the supply of oxygen to the wards of the medical institution as well as the regional clinical hospital for overhaul of the roof. The next tranche for strengthening the material and technical base is intended for the Yaroslavl schools, which have become pivotal for the Russian Academy of Sciences - No. 33, Lyceum No. 86 and 'Provincial College'. In addition, 'Slavneft-YANOS' intends to continue investing in improving the quality of personnel training for the enterprise: financial assistance is planned to be allocated to educational institutions involved in this process - Lyceum No. 86, Yaroslavl State Technical University and Yaroslavl Industrial and Economic College. In the field of culture, with the participation of the enterprise's funds, it is planned to carry out repair and restoration work in the Rybinsk Drama Theater as well as to continue the 'On a High Wave' campaign, designed to ensure the availability of theater, entertainment and concert services for socially unprotected categories of Yaroslavl residents. The list of social projects of YANOS for 2021 also includes a program for the development of children's sports on the basis of the Atlant sports complex, the next stage of the improvement of the Neftyanik park, etc. 'Last year we worked in very difficult, one might say, extreme conditions,' noted Nikolay Karpov, General Director of PJSC 'Slavneft-YANOS'. - Today we can state that the pandemic was unable to disrupt the implementation of our plans, not only in the production, but also in the social sphere. Our Agreement on Cooperation with the Government of the Yaroslavl Region continues to operate in full. We are glad that in such a difficult time we have the opportunity to contribute to improving the quality of life of Yaroslavl residents'.
