Gazprom PJSC said Friday that its gas production in 2021 to date rose compared to the same time a year prior, and its gas exports rose.

The Russian gas giant said that between January and September, it produced 378.1 billion cubic meters of gas, up 17.3% when compared to the same period a year prior.

The company said it ramped up domestic supplies from the gas transmission system by 15.9% over the period, and increased its gas exports to countries outside the former Soviet Union to 145.8 billion cubic meters--the second highest amount for a nine month period in its history, and a rise of 15.3% on-year.

The company also said that gas supplies to China through the Power of Siberia pipeline continue to grow after completing scheduled maintenance from Sept. 22 to Sept. 29.

Shares at 1252 GMT were up RUB0.8, or 0.2%, at RUB361.6.
