Rostelecom : leads the National Rating Agency’s ESG rankings

Moscow, Russia - July 8, 2021 - Rostelecom PJSC (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), the largest integrated digital services and products company in Russia, today announces that the company leads ESG-rankings in the non-financial sector according to the National Rating Agency (NRA).

The National Rating Agency has for the first time published the ESG-rankings of non-financial organizations in Russia. 105 Moscow Exchange issuers traded in the first and second quotation lists and operating in the industrial and consumer sectors of the economy have been ranked. Rostelecom leads across all ESG indicators, with a score of 31.94 points.

Issuers were divided into five groups and ranked by the extent sustainable development principles have been implemented in their activities. Rostelecom has been assigned to the 'advanced level' group. All members of this group have long-term sustainable development strategies, implementation plans, corresponding KPIs and clear reporting.

According to the NRA report, advanced-list constituents show an enhanced level of integration of ESG into their activities, demonstrate a very high level of disclosure and quality of non-financial information. These companies disclose non-financial metrics to a much greater extent than is legally required and recommended in disclosure statements.
