Gazprom Neft has joined forces with the Partisan Press street-art project on a campaign - "ПРИВЕТ! ПРИВИТ!" (HI! HAD THE JAB!) - promoting vaccinations against COVID-19. Street-talk and whacky typography on T-shirts and posters are being used to reflecting the spirits of pro-vaxxers, with company employees acting as co-authors as well as message-bearers on this project. With posters throughout plants and offices, and T-shirts under protective clothing and suit jackets - thousands of like-minded pro-vaxxers have got involved in this motivational campaign.

A number of handcrafted limited-print posters have been produced as part of the HI! HAD THE JAB! campaign. Calls to action, 20th-century composite type, wood-print lettering, vintage colours and hand-operated printing all point to how modern poster art is being created on the most urgent issue in recent years.

"With this art project we want to use direct communication to bring together and support everyone actively getting back to normal life. We're using accessible - but forceful - language on posters to make clear our attitude to vaccination. We're talking about the new normal - where the phrase 'Had the jab' is as important as the word 'Hi!'. Herd immunity at Gazprom Neft has already reached 90%, so the messages on the T-shirts and posters sound like snippets from employees' own stories."

Notes for editors

This collaboration with Partisan Press forms part of Gazprom Neft's ANTIVIRUS programme, launched in March 2020. The programme is directed at combatting COVID-19, helping medics and volunteers, and supporting the company's employees and partners. Gazprom Neft has been supporting voluntary employee vaccinations since spring 2021, setting up vaccination centres throughout its plants and offices.
