A set of measures has been developed and is being implemented at the company's power plants, aimed at ensuring system reliability and technological safety during the periods of peak loads and in conditions of low outdoor temperatures. Maintenance activities are carried out at the power plants according to the schedule, a stock of main, backup and starting fuel has been prepared, an emergency reserve of spare parts and materials has been put into storage.

The staff of the company is provided with special clothing, safety shoes and the necessary personal protective equipment. During the year, training sessions and knowledge tests regarding compliance with health and safety, industrial and fire protection standards have been conducted with the power plant personnel. In the course of quarterly special emergency training involving specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and medical staff, emergency and low temperatures response actions are being drilled.

This set of measures will allow to ensure reliable operation of the equipment and uninterrupted supply of heat and electricity to the consumers over the upcoming heating season.

Following the results of inspections of readiness, all power plants of the company - Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, Reftinskaya GRES and Sredneuralskaya GRES were declared ready by the Russian Ministry of Energy to operate during the upcoming heating season and PJSC 'Enel Russia' obtained a certificate of readiness to operate work in the heating season of 2018 - 2019.
