05/19/2021

Rosseti FGC UES has completed its project for providing power to the new meat processing factory of Miratorg Holding in the Kursk region. The total amount of electrical power released to the consumer is 43 MW.

The meat factory is situated in the Ortyabrsky district of the Kursk region. The new factory is fitted with modern equipment, and its production is virtually totally robotized.

Delivery of power to the enterprise is provided from two Rosseti FGC UES facilities: Kurskaya and Yuzhnaya 330 kV substations, where the 110 kV switchyards have been expanded. New line feeders are equipped with highly reliable gas-insulated breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers. Also, microprocessor-based relay protection and automation terminals have been installed at the substations. The equipment is made in Russia and is controlled automatically.

Rosseti FGC UES also provides power to another large production side of Miratorg agricultural holding - Bryansky Broiler factory (in 2020, the average power consumption of this enterprise was 21 MW). In addition, it is planned to hook up the feed mill and oil extraction plant, which are currently under construction in the Orel region. For that, an additional 110 kV line feeder fitted with Russian equipment has been installed at Zheleznogorskaya 330 kV substation. According to the contract, the consumer will receive 14 MW of power.
