"Krasnodar Territory is one of the most populated and industrially developed regions in our country. Along with tourism, housing construction and infrastructure are being actively developed here. All this requires reliable and high-quality power supplies. In 2022, we plan to complete major projects in Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Taman. We will also continue to work on modernization of the grid economy of Greater Sochi," Andrey Ryumin noted.

In total, 493 MVA of new transformer capacity and 509 km of power transmission lines will be put into operation. The reconstruction of the 110 kV Pochtovaya substation -one of the key power facilities in Krasnodar - will be completed. The capacity of the substation will be increased from 20 to 80 MVA.

The 110 kV Yuzhnaya Ozereevka substation with a capacity of 20 MVA will be put into operation in the port area of Novorossiysk. It will also unload the existing substations responsible for supplying power to nearby settlements and resort facilities of the Black Sea Coast.

The largest project in the main grid complex is related to the implementation of the Udarnaya TPP power distribution scheme, which is being built to solve the problem of energy shortage in the Krasnodar Territory and power supply to consumers in the port area of Taman.

The meeting participants also discussed measures aimed at improving the reliability of the grid infrastructure in response to an increase in the number of extreme weather events, solutions aimed at reducing losses and developing a smart metering system. It was noted that today's level of accounting automation in the area of responsibility of Rosseti Kuban amounted to 29% (348,500 points). In 2022, it is planned to install 49.5 thousand new metering devices.
