Rosseti FGC UES prepares infrastructure for power supply to two industrial parks in Voronezh

09/22/2021

Expansion of the Yuzhnaya 220 kV substation of Rosseti FGC UES was completed as part of the technological connection of the Maslovsky Industrial Park and the 'Center' Special Economic Zone (SEZ) power supply facilities.

The maximum power of the connection to Rosseti FGC UES grids is 63 MW. This will provide conditions for the work of more than 40 residents, including Siemens Transformers, Voronezhselmash, Sinokvant and other enterprises.

Two additional 110 kV line feeders were built at the substation, and the relay protection and automation systems were upgraded with modern microprocessor-based terminals. The work was carried with the power center running without compromising the supply of power to consumers.

In the future, two cable transmission lines will be connected from the new feeders to the new 110 kV Parkovaya substation, which is being built by the Voronezh region Department of Construction Policy to transmit electricity to the industrial park and SEZ facilities.

Maslovsky industrial site currently has 20 registered residents, including companies producing electrical equipment, agricultural machinery, steel structures and building materials. 'Center' SEZ was opened on the site adjacent to the industrial park. Now it has five registered residents, including a factory for the assembly of DEXP, AMCV, Xiaomi, HUNDAI, LEBEN, BBK, and Hi LCD TVs. It is planned that in the future about 20 enterprises will be opened in the SEZ.

Yuzhnaya 220 kV substation participates in the output of the Novovoronezh nuclear power plant and Voronezh CHP-1, and feeds electricity to a significant portion of Voronezh's industrial and residential customers. The transformer capacity of this power facility is 530 MVA.
