Rosseti FGC UES to Connect More Than 4 GW of Capacity to the Unified National Electric Grid in2021

Rosseti FGC UES has completed on time all the work to prepare of the trunk power grid facilities for the autumn-winter season 2021/2022. Over 10 months, more than 2.1 GW of consumer capacity has been connected to the UNEG, by the end of the year this figure will exceed 4 GW. The priority task for the coming months is to maintain reliability not below the current level and implement the investment program. This was announced by Andrey Murov, First Deputy Director General - Executive Director of PJSC Rosseti, at a meeting with the management team and heads of Rosseti FGC UES branches - MES.

In January-October, the best dynamics of performance indicators was noted in the MES enterprises in Novgorod, Perm and Samara, where the specific incident rate has decreased by 21%, 25% and 33%, respectively.

By the end of the year, the branches are expected to complete the planned targets of the investment program. Among the key tasks is to implement the activities of the Comprehensive Plan for the Modernization and Expansion of the Trunk Infrastructure (Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2101-р). It is planned to complete the construction of the 220 kV Shirokaya - Lozovaya transmission line in the Far East, as well as several facilities in the Northwest, which are part of the new Kola-Karelian transit.

In addition, since the beginning of the year, Rosseti FGC UES has carried out a number of major events. Among other things, the 220 kV Lesozavodsk - Spassk - Dalnevostochnaya line has been put into operation, which has increased the reliability of power supply to the south of Primorsky Krai, and the power distribution scheme of the largest wind power plant in Russia - Kochubeevskaya - has been implemented.
