ANK Bashneft' : Baudin Khamidov is appointed General Director of LLC Sorovskneft

Today, the Board of Directors of PJSOC Bashneft has approved the appointment of Baudin Khamidov to the position of General Director of LLC Sorovskneft upon the recommendation of the Nominating and Compensation Committee. Baudin Khamidov will replace Alexander Scherbinin, who has decided to continue his career outside Bashneft Group.

Baudin Khamidov was born in 1958. In 1980 he graduated from the Gubkin State Oil and Gas University with a degree in Oil and Gas Field Geology and Exploration. Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. From 1981 through 1996 he worked for Grozneft Production Association, where he started as a senior geologist and eventually became head of the Gorskneft Oil and Gas Production Department. In 1996 and 1997 he worked as the General Director of YUNKO-Groznefteorgsintez. From 1997 through 1999 he occupied the positions of General Director of CheNeKo-Nefteprodukt, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Vice President for Marketing of South Oil Company. From 2000 through 2004 he was the General Director of OJSC Grozneftegaz. From 2004 through 2007 Mr. Khamidov held the posts of First Deputy Director of the Operations Management and Monitoring Department and First Deputy Director of the Oil and Gas Production Department at OJSC Rosneft. From 2007 through 2015 he was the General Director of LLC Polar Lights Company. In March 2016, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Operations Management Department of PJSOC Bashneft.
