Nottingham Trace Community Offers Exclusive Benefits for 55+ New Albany Residents and On-Site State-of-the-Art Amenities

COLUMBUS, Ohio - October 1, 2020 - Dedicated to promoting the health and wellness of residents at Nottingham Trace, New Albany's premier 55+ community, Pulte Homes is partnering with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Health and Fitness Center, located within the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany. This month, the community will also officially unveil its highly anticipated on-site amenity center and clubhouse.

'Healthy New Albany's mission and wellness initiatives align perfectly with the amenities offered at Nottingham Trace and the active lifestyle homebuyers are looking for at this stage of life,' said Jim Marcero, Columbus Division President for Pulte Homes. 'Together we have developed an innovative program that makes this community truly unique in its focus on supporting the health and wellbeing of its residents.'

As part of this exclusive partnership, Nottingham Trace residents will receive a free one-year membership at The Ohio State Health and Fitness Center New Albany, located within the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany, less than three miles from the community. More than a gym facility, the center offers holistic wellness approach and programming that caters to the individual needs of each member at every level in their fitness journey. Each member will receive a comprehensive wellness assessment and a personalized exercise prescription with workout routines tailored to their fitness needs. Membership also includes access to dynamic age-targeted group fitness classes, an aquatics area with a lap pool and warm water exercise pool, workout equipment, free weights and cardiovascular area.

'We are excited for this unique partnership with Pulte Homes to create personalized health plans and programming for Nottingham Trace residents,' said John Paro, General Manager for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Health and Fitness Center. 'Addressing the unique needs of each individual contributes to the collective health and wellbeing of the entire community.'

Nottingham Trace has completed construction of its community clubhouse and resort-style amenity area. In addition to its state-of-the-art fitness center, the 3,800 square foot clubhouse features an activity room for group fitness and other programming, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a game room, and an expansive community kitchen designed to support resident functions or cooking demonstrations. Included onsite are community pickleball and bocce courts and neighborhood walking paths that connect with New Albany's extensive parkland and trail system, totaling more than 36-miles of leisure trails to walk and bicycle. Residents can enjoy outdoor living throughout the year with a covered porch and terrace served by an inviting two-sided fireplace.

'The onsite fitness center at Nottingham Trace will feature the same connected, state-of-the-art exercise equipment that residents will find at the Heit Center,' said Marcero. 'Residents will then be able to efficiently coordinate their activities at both facilities and easily track progress towards their workout goals through an app on their smartphone.'

'Nottingham Trace is a terrific addition to the residential options in New Albany,' said William Ebbing, President of the New Albany Company. 'Pulte Homes delivers quality homes and neighborhoods while supporting the quality of life for the residents who live there. This new collaboration with Healthy New Albany reflects their innovative community-building approach and will enhance the lives of those who call the community home.'

Nottingham Trace features five single-story home designs that range from 1,683 square feet to 2,168 square feet with 2-5 bedrooms and 2-4.5 baths. These spacious floor plans feature open flow-through layouts, expansive kitchen islands and plenty of storage space, including walk-up attic storage. To personalize the home for entertaining and everyday living needs, design selections include an optional second story, basement options and versatile flex spaces. Tucked away on 88 acres just north of New Albany Road, when complete the community will be comprised of 240 homes. Pricing starts from the low $300s.
