Please describe your role in PVH.

Joaquin

I have a dual role. First as a Store Manager for our Tampa store and second as a Regional Trainer for the South. As an RTM my main responsibility is to be a liaison between the field and our Director of Training in all training related issues.

Lyudmyla

I am a Technical Product Owner for Data Driven Marketing. I work in the Technology department at Amsterdam HQ. I support software development teams in the marketing technology and digital selling domains.

Sarah

As a Talent Development Specialist, I have the wonderful job of creating learning opportunities for our associates and recognizing their commitment in self-development. One of my main responsibilities it serving as the enterprise manager for the global digital badging program and platform at PVH. If you ever have any questions on digital badging, I'm your girl!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

Joaquin

In school when they were doing superlative contests I would always win "Most Unique".

Lyudmyla

I was born and raised in Ukraine but I also lived in Paris; Texas; California; and on islands in Thailand, Mexico, and Spain.

Sarah

Ok, I'll give my weird one first. I can write my full name upside down and backwards with both hands simultaneously. Don't ask how I figured that out! Besides that, I absolutely love to travel. There's nothing like experiencing new scenery, new adventure, and new people. I took my first trip to Southeast Asia in 2017 and have been hooked ever since. There's so much world to see and I'm determined to see it all!

What does being a PVH U ambassador mean to you?

Joaquin

I have always been passionate about training and developing people. Teaching is in my blood because of my mother and aunt. This role means that I don't have to sit on the sidelines and just look at content, I get to be part of the content and this allows PVH U to reach more people not just in English but in Spanish as well.

Lyudmyl

a Being a PVH U ambassador means sharing my love of lifelong learning with others at PVH. The world around us constantly evolves, and not developing ourselves would mean staying behind the times. Sarah As the PVH U Ambassador program lead, I have a unique opportunity. It is important for me to educate associates on the great (and extensive) resources PVH U has to offer, but I would say it means even more to me to highlight the truly incredible people in the cohort. This group continues to blow me away with their creativity, openness, and work ethic, and I am honored to work alongside such talented and inspiring people. To me, being a PVH U Ambassador means sharing my love of learning and hopefully inspiring others to do the same.

What is one tool (or course) from PVH U that you want associates to be aware of?

Joaquin

I actually have 2 courses. The first one is "Communicating as LGBTQ+ Leaders & Their Allies" because it showed me an effective and more authentic way to communicate with my team and peers while not being afraid to show my true authentic self and that it's ok to be out and proud and speak your truth, live your truth and embrace yourself fully at work. The other one is "Leading Your Team Through Change" because it taught me how to ensure that our team embraces change, whether is from new systems or processes or how to navigate work in this new normal because of COVID-19. It teaches you how to work with people that resist change, see how your entire team is doing/feeling through pulse checks but also to ensure that everyone understands that there's also accountability to make the change happen.

Lyudmyla

I really enjoyed Search Inside Yourself course - it laid a good foundation for a balanced life and was really helpful ahead of the covid times with its focus on resilience and mental wellbeing. It was based on solid research and had a practical approach where we practiced the techniques we were learning.

Sarah

I can't give too much detail, but PVH U has a badge focused on giving and receiving feedback launching in early 2022. Feedback often has a negative connotation to it, and I believe it's so important to change that mindset. If we're better equipped to give and receive feedback, we'll reach higher levels, build more trust, and fuel growth and excitement - both personally and professionally.
