Qatar Electricity & Water Company Q.P.S.C. Announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was QAR 655.537 million compared to QAR 604.058 million a year ago. Operating income was QAR 224.471 million compared to QAR 218.690 million a year ago. Net income was QAR 340.454 million compared to QAR 310.448 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was QAR 0.31 compared to QAR 0.28 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was QAR 1,254.914 million compared to QAR 1,143.443 million a year ago. The Company operates plants for the generation of electricity and desalination of water in the State of Qatar, and sells its products to the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation.
