Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policy

QIAGEN recognizes its long-term economic success is dependent on, having a healthy high-performance workplace and improving its environmental performance in order to protect the environment. These factors contribute to QIAGEN's sustainable goals and enable us to make improvements in life possible for future generations as a good corporate citizen.

The Company will establish EHS goals and report on the progress both internally and publicly. The Company will conduct open communication and dialogues, on workplace health, safety, and environmental sustainability issues, with its employees and stakeholders, responding to EHS concerns and suggestions.

The Company will provide a safe and healthy working environment that considers the wellbeing and safety of its employees, contractors, customers, and the public by conducting business in a safe and environmentally sustainable manner.

QIAGEN is committed to:

• • Improving the Company's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) performance to go above and beyond fulfilling provisions of applicable governmental laws and regulations, by establishing internal Company requirements and management systems designed to assure compliance and continuous improvement.

• • Integrating sustainable principles within its business decisions, processes, operations and products, to include resource conservation, pollution prevention, evaluating and addressing the Company's carbon and plastic footprint.

• • Applying sustainability principles to the research, design and development of the Company's products from material selection, through to reusability and disposal

• • Working with its business partners to foster responsible practices among its suppliers and contractors, to attain social, economic and environment sustainable goals

• • Partnering with employees to raise awareness, build an EHS culture that engages the workforce in the promotion and achievement of safe and healthy conditions

QIAGEN's senior management is responsible for ensuring that the intent of this policy is communicated to all employees. All employees have a responsibility to ensure that the aims and objectives of this Corporate Policy are understood, considered, and integrated into their daily operational activities.

All activities governed by this Corporate Policy will be conducted in accordance with applicable governmental regulations, related Corporate Directives and Standard Operating Procedures.
