5Gmomentum continues to accelerate, transforming industries and product categories in just the last two years. In his virtual keynote at Computex Taipei 2021, Qualcomm Technologies Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile, Compute, and Infrastructure Alex Katouzian touched on this and the continued growth in 5G infrastructure and adoption that's driving incredible growth of our 5G PC portfolio and advancements in mobile computing. Our powerful, efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon compute platforms inside Windows 10 and Chrome OS laptops are giving users the always-connected experiences they need to connect, compute, and communicate virtually anywhere.

And other robust capabilities like advancedAIand boundless XR continue to push the future of mobile PCs, with next-generation projects led by the recent acquisition of NUVIA continuing Qualcomm Technologies' leadership in CPU design. Katouzian also spoke about the importance of collaborations and how our work with companies like Sa<_w3a_sdt id='-1142576893' sdttag='goog_rdk_1'><_w3a_sdt id='968707780' sdttag='goog_rdk_2'>msung, Acer, Lenovo, and HP will further boost innovation and transform the mobile computing ecosystem (something he also touched on in episode one of his new 'Future of' video series, which focused onmobile PCs).

Just in the last few months, we realized<_w3a_sdt id='1360393527' sdttag='goog_rdk_7'>several key mobile computing milestones across the enterprise, education, and remote workspaces. This past January a<_w3a_sdtpr><_w3a_sdt id='837584175' sdttag='goog_rdk_8'><_w3a_sdtpr><_w3a_sdt id='-1091777918' sdttag='goog_rdk_9'>t CES, we saw the commercialization of theSnapdragon 8cx Gen 2 compute platform, which brings extreme performance and battery life, powerful AI and graphics, and industry-leading 5G and Wi-Fi connectivity to new devices. We also saw the launch of the HP Elite Folio, our first enterprise-focused device.

Today's remote work environment highlighted the need for effective security for enterprises whose employees are working from home or will soon be working on the go again. IT decision makers and administrators value the benefits of Always On, Always Connected devices powered by Snapdragon compute platforms because secure and reliable 5G and 4G LTE connectivity allows threat reports to be relayed in real time along with updates to solve them - even while the user is away from her computer. Additionally, built-in cellular connectivity reduces the need to utilize unsecure or public Wi-Fi networks. IT security companies Sophos and Watchguard now provide 5G and LTE security for Snapdragon powered devices, meeting the growing need for remote workers to stay connected and safe when working from anywhere.

We continue to deliver cutting-edge technology experiences to empower today's learners and bring peace of mind to IT administrators by driving secure and reliable LTE connectivity to the education space. Our commitment to education was on display at the BETT trade show where the JP-IK Leap Connect T304 and Acer Chromebook Spin 511were released. These cost-effective devices deliver the durability students need as well as the experiences students deserve.

This past year highlighted our need to be connected. It also shined a spotlight on the tools thathelped us be productive and creative. Leading creativity and productivity providers likeZoomand Adobe continue to tap into the cutting-edge technology of our platforms. Both pushed major updates to Windows 10 on ARM, bringing the popular video conferencing, creativity, and productivity apps natively to Snapdragon powered mobile PCs.

<_w3a_sdt id='-343708105' sdttag='goog_rdk_23'>The innovation never stops. Just a few weeks ago<_w3a_sdt id='-2106802351' sdttag='goog_rdk_24'>, we<_w3a_sdt id='103628751' sdttag='goog_rdk_26'>releasedan update to our Snapdragon 7c mobile compute platform, theSnapdragon 7c Gen 2, aimed at providing premium features and capabilities to more entry-level Windows 10 and Chromebook devices. Superior performance, battery-life, and LTE connectivity combined with AI acceleration and enterprise-grade security make devices powered by Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 a must have for education, first-line and entry-level workers, and everyday consumers that need connectivity, flexibility, and affordability.

Today, advanced camera and audio features are vital for remote work and video conferencing needs. That's why both the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 combine Qualcomm Aqstic Audio technology with the Qualcomm Spectra 255 ISP for crystal-clear audio and razor-sharp camera capabilities. And the newSnapdragon Developer Kit for Windows 10 on ARMallows developers to seamlessly build the software necessary to take full advantage of the unique features and capabilities of Snapdragon compute platforms.

As Katouzian said, collaboration is the defining feature for making the future mobile PCs. Now, our advanced entry- and premium-tier compute platforms are powering a new generation of Samsung mobile PCs. The new Samsung Galaxy Book Go implements the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2, offering strong performance and battery life in a thin, fan-less, and affordable mobile device. And the Galaxy Book Go 5G, with the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G platform, couples an amazing mix of performance and power efficiency with lightning-fast 5G and Wi-Fi 6 capabilities.

These two devices continue the vision Qualcomm Technologies and Samsung have for combining the power of a laptop with the portability and connectivity of a smartphone. Our shared appreciation for innovation makes the world more connected than it's ever been. Together, we're delivering the premium mobile computing experiences users deserve. We're thrilled to continue our collaboration with Samsung, and we're excited to see Snapdragon at the fingertips of even more people.
