Qurate Retail, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2024. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 2,407 million compared to USD 2,649 million a year ago. Net income was USD 20 million compared to USD 107 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.05 compared to USD 0.28 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.05 compared to USD 0.28 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 4,749 million compared to USD 5,293 million a year ago. Net income was USD 19 million compared to USD 127 million a year ago. QxH segment markets and sells a variety of consumer products in the United States, primarily by means of its televised shopping programs and via the Internet through their websites and mobile applications. QVC International segment markets and sells a variety of consumer products in several foreign countries, primarily by means of its televised shopping programs and via the Internet through its international websites and mobile applications. CBI segment consists of a portfolio of aspirational home and apparel brands in the United States, which sells merchandise through brick-and-mortar retail locations, as well as via the Internet through their websites.
