Ongoing cooperation between Rába and Claas

Through a new order Rába expands its scope of products supplied to Claas, one of the world's leading agricultural vehicle manufacturer. The agreement signed for five years brings the company a revenue of nearly EUR 2 million.

The cooperation between Rába and Claas dates back 21 years. During this time the Hungarian company has established a close partnership with Claas' German unit, and developed a complete axle for its Xerion type engine.
The new order came from the French unit of the agricultural vehicle manufacturer. The new contract helps to increase Rába's presence on the market, broaden its product portfolio, and strengthen the relationship between the business partners.
The new product, a transfer box is the result of a joint development with Claas, and will be built in the cotton-picking machine of the manufacturer. Serial production will commence this year after the prototype is approved. In joint developments Rába contributes to the success of the partner's vehicles with forward-looking solutions that meet the latest demnads.
Rába has been a reliable partner of Claas for a long time. An important recognition of this fact was the 'Supplier of the Year' award in the innovation category given to Rába past January, which also showed that Claas placed a great emphasis on a more intensive cooperation with its suppliers. The recognition reflects the higher level relationship established between the partners, where Rába supplies its customer with innovative, engineering solutions. The award represents a special value to Rába since the focal point of its corporate strategy is innovation whose succes is confirmed by leading partners.
The new contract paves the way for new product developments or porduct applications for new vehicle models.
