TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) _ Radware Ltd. (RDWR) on Wednesday reported first-quarter earnings of $3.9 million.

The Tel Aviv, Israel-based company said it had net income of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 17 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 15 cents per share.

The network management software maker posted revenue of $66.8 million in the period.

Radware shares have dropped slightly more than 1% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 19% in the last 12 months.
