Raffles Medical Group Ltd. announced the opening of Raffles Hospital Chongqing. With this development, the Group is now in 14 cities across Asia, including eight cities in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Tianjin, Dalian, Nanjing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Raffles Hospital Chongqing supports the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity. The Hospital is owned and operated by Raffles MedicalGroup, a leading integrated healthcare organization in Asia with over 42 years of history of growth and expansion in Singapore and the region. The Group will be opening a second hospital in Shanghai, Pudong Qiantan in 2019. The two hospitals, strategically located in the eastern and western regions of China, offer access to the Raffles brand of care within China. Raffles Hospital Chongqing, a 700-bed hospital with two tower blocks connected by a podium has a gross floor area of more than 100,000 square metres. When fully opened, the Hospital will offer a full complement of specialist services with medical technology and centers of excellence in gastrointestinal surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, cardiovascular surgery, neuroscience and oncology.
