Ramsay Health Care Limited (ASX:RHC) is believed to be planning a move to sell a selection of its hospitals to real estate landlords after suitor Kohlberg Kravis Roberts abandoned a $20bn buyout proposal earlier in 2022. Sources say investment bank UBS is undertaking preparatory work for Ramsay for a sale and leaseback of its real estate assets, with a process likely to be launched in 2023.
