Rand Worldwide, Inc. announced that its courseware division, ASCENT- Center for Technical Knowledge(R), released its first training guide in Spanish: AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012 Esenciales (AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012 Essentials). As an Autodesk Authorized Author and Publisher, as well as author of Autodesk Official Training Guides, ASCENT has extensive experience in writing and producing training resources in English for Autodesk's suite of software. Due to requests from ASCENT's Latin-American customers, it was determined that there was a need for Spanish training materials. Riding on the heels of the successful release of the AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012 Essentials training guide, ASCENT chose this guide as the first one to translate into Spanish. The objective of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012 Essentials is to enable students to create a basic 2D drawing in AutoCAD. The teaching strategy is to start with a few basic tools that enable the student to create and edit a simple drawing, and then continue to develop those tools. More advanced tools are also introduced throughout the training guide. ASCENT is an Authorized Author, Publisher and Developer of Autodesk Official Training Guides. In addition, ASCENT creates and publishes courseware for CATIA and Pro/ENGINEER software applications.
