Randstad N.V. is the world's No. 2 of human resources services. Net sales break down by activity as follows:

- generalist staff placement outside the classic sectors (50.9%): primarily administrative staff and light industry staff;

- generalist staff placement from onsite agencies (22.4%): primarily for the clients in the logistics and industrial sectors;

- specialized staff placement (21.8%): primarily engineers and legal, technical and financial experts (wage replacement, reinsertion and management services);

- other (4.9%).

At the end of 2019, the group had 2,761 agencies worldwide;

Net sales break down geographically as follows: The Netherlands (14.1%), France (15.7%), Germany (8.7%), Italy (6.9%), Belgium and Luxembourg (6.8%), Europe (15.5%), North America (18.5%) and other (13.8%).
