Raspadskaya : Coal Company has helped to set up a training laboratory at Osinniki Mining and Technical College

Raspadskaya Coal Company has helped Osinniki Mining and Technical College (OGTK) to get modern equipment. The laboratory simulating conditions of a preparatory face - a gift to the educational institution for its 75th anniversary.

The training class presents the main technical means that are used in preparatory mine face: anchor setter, pump for water pumping, mine equipment starters. The miners allocated 450 thousand rubles for purchasing of the equipment. In addition, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of OGTK, Raspadskaya coal miners helped the educational institution to renovate the assembly hall. The company has contributed over RUR 1.3m for the multimedia system purchase and the chair replacement.

"Raspadskaya Coal Company is fully involved in the work of the college: it gives us training simulators, conducts training courses for teachers, takes students for practical training and participates in the final state certification of graduates," said Yury Baranov, director of OGTK.

The cooperation between the company and OGTC has been going on for many years. Each year Raspadskaya employs 50-60 college graduates who have completed their practical training at one of its enterprises. To familiarize students with industrial equipment, the miners help to equip the college with classrooms that simulate the work of different faces. In spring, with Raspadskaya's support, an underground drilling laboratory was opened here.
