DULLES, Va., (October 19, 2022)- Raytheon Intelligence & Space, a Raytheon Technologies business, is collaborating with Red Hat to combine its new Zero Trust security platform REDPro ZTX, or Zero Trust eXtend, with Red Hat OpenShift at enterprise scale.

RI&S's REDPro ZTX is a future-proof, open standards-based Zero Trust integration platform that facilitates plug-and-play and vendor-agnostic applications. By pairing REDProZTX with Red Hat OpenShift, the industry's leading enterprise Kubernetes platform, RI&S's customers will have access to scalable, rapid and enhanced security deployments across different Operational Technology and IT environments.

"Through our collaboration with Red Hat, we are able to rapidly deploy REDPro ZTX to our customers all the while offering them the stability and scalability inherent in their Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform," said John DeSimone, president of Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services at Raytheon Intelligence & Space. "The result is faster and more sustainable deployment of REDPro ZTX which is a huge enabler in ensuring multi-platform, multi-vendor Zero Trust security integration."

REDPro ZTX is designed to accelerate enterprise-scale rollouts of Zero Trust and cover a wide variety of deployment scenarios, including tactical edge, on premise, and multi-cloud environments. It also provides comprehensive, multi-level protection across all pillars of Zero Trust. Its robust, NIST 800-207 Zero Trust standard-compliant, open architecture provides users with the ability to select and rapidly deploy solutions that best fit their organization's needs.

"Security is critical within hybrid cloud environments and for many applications," said Chris Gray, vice president, North America Partner Ecosystem for Red Hat. "This can only be accomplished through collaboration and co-creation across a broad partner ecosystem, and Raytheon Intelligence & Space's REDPro ZTX with Red Hat is a great example of this co-creation. Ultimately, we can deliver more value to our customers when working together."

By pairing REDPro ZTX with Red Hat OpenShift, organizations that use REDPro ZTX can accelerate their Zero Trust adoption journey, lower their technical risk, reduce cost and simplify security operations - while accessing an extensible, open, future-proof Zero Trust platform and avoiding vendor lock.
