DULLES, Va., (Oct. 20, 2022) - Raytheon Intelligence & Space, a Raytheon Technologies business, demonstrated its Operational Zero Trust, or OZT, capability during the U.S. Army's Project Convergence 2022 Technology Gateway, which ran from September 19 to October 18 at the U.S. Army's Yuma Proving Ground.
RI&S was among multiple companies selected to demonstrate novel industry technologies at the Technology Gateway that will help the Army achieve its modernization priorities.
"Our Operational Zero Trust approach provides cyber resiliency to the Integrated Tactical Network through a multi-echelon, fully integrated capability." said John DeSimone, president of Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.
OZT federates cyber resiliency and automates cyber defense from the tactical edge to the theater. Other benefits of the design include simplicity, common look and feel across levels, scalability, survivability, interoperability, a vendor-agnostic platform for integration of the best-in-class cyber tools, and the ability to accommodate size, weight and power requirements for all tactical infrastructure.
"Today's missions require technologies that provide accurate and assured mission data, protected across all domains, enabling the tactical force to resist cyberattacks and empowering mission commander success." said DeSimone. "Using decades of experience in both offensive and defensive cyber, we designed our OZT capability to ensure a significantly improved cyber defensive posture with optimized cyber-soldier task alignment."
