Roman Badanin appointed editor-in-chief of RBC news agency

Moscow, December 16, 2013- RBC OJSC (Moscow Exchange: RBCM) hereby announces a new appointment.

Roman Badanin will become Head of RBC news agency starting January 15, 2014.

"Roman has more than 10 years of experience in the Internet and high-quality journalism. I am delighted that he has joined our team. The task set before Roman is to develop the strong points of the news agency and in cooperation with our team to make RBC the best business news resource," RBC CEO Derk Sauer said.

Roman Badanin graduated from the History Department of the Moscow State University. He worked in the International Foundation for Socio-Economic and Political Studies (the Gorbachev Foundation) and was engaged in research activities. Roman was deputy editor-in-chief of Gazeta.ru website for 10 years. In December 2011, he became editor-in-chief of Forbes.ru website. In fall 2013, he was named executive director of Internet projects at Interfax.
