Potential for increased engagement and new growth opportunities for the websites of the RCS Group newspapers

Milan, 24 March 2021 - RCS MediaGroup announces the signing of an agreement with Google on the publication of content from the daily titles Corriere della Sera, La Gazzetta dello Sport, El Mundo,Marca and Expansion on Google News Showcase, the new product announced by Google in 2020 to offer readers access to trusted and in-depth news content against a fee paid to the participating publishers.

Under this agreement, News Showcase will offer its users access to a series of insightful articles from each of the online titles, and will allow RCS to deepen the relationship with its readers by benefiting, while respecting its independence, from the enhanced content of its newspapers and further growth in traffic towards the websites of corriere.it, gazzetta.it, elmundo.es, marca.es and expansion.es.
