RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 186.417 million compared to TWD 75.258 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 94.506 million compared to TWD 635,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 93.307 million compared to TWD 1.447 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.38 compared to TWD 0.02 a year ago.
RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of microcontroller unit (MCU) semiconductor components. The Company provides MCU chips, which are applied in industrial personal computers (IPCs), flat panel displays (FPDs), measurement instruments, as well as microprocessor chips, which are applied in industrial computers boards, industrial controllers, industrial panel personal computers (PCs), computer numerical control (CNC) controller and others. It also provides network processor system on chips (SoCs) and Internet access device (IAD) platforms. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
