RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 90.25 million compared to TWD 93.23 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 8.31 million compared to net income of TWD 16.71 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.12 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.25 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 481.69 million compared to TWD 230.93 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 178.53 million compared to TWD 1.04 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.63 compared to TWD 0.02 a year ago.
RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of microcontroller unit (MCU) semiconductor components. The Company provides MCU chips, which are applied in industrial personal computers (IPCs), flat panel displays (FPDs), measurement instruments, as well as microprocessor chips, which are applied in industrial computers boards, industrial controllers, industrial panel personal computers (PCs), computer numerical control (CNC) controller and others. It also provides network processor system on chips (SoCs) and Internet access device (IAD) platforms. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
