(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Record PLC, up 8.2% at 76.8 pence, 12-month range 59.26-86.12p. The currency and derivatives manager says assets under management equivalents in the third quarter rise to USD80.8 billion at September 30, compared to USD77.9 billion. It records net inflows of USD6.6 billion and performance fees of GBP500,000. Record says uncertainty in markets is only having a limited impact on portfolio values. "Conversely, heightened volatility and inflationary pressure underscores the relevance of our products and offers new opportunities for growth and diversification," it says.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Wickes Group PLC, down 7.0% at 115.76p, 12-month range 111.1p-247.6p. The home improvement retailer warns its costs will be hit by rising energy prices from March, when its energy contract ends. It estimates energy costs would be around GBP7.5 million higher year-on-year, if the current price cap remains in place. It also says like-for-like sales were up 2.6% in the third quarter, but core sales were flat.

----------

Luceco PLC, down 4.6% at 64p, 12-month range 63.47p-407.55p. The LED lighting manufacturer and distributor extends Thursday's losses and nears 12-month low. On Thursday, it warned its adjusted operating profit for 2022 will come in below previous estimates, at around GBP20-22 million. "Our order book now suggests our distributor customers will destock faster in [the fourth quarter] than we originally expected," Luceco explained.

----------

Superdry PLC, down 3.8% at 117.4p, 12-month range 96p-330p. The clothing retailer falls as new data shows UK consumer confidence remains near historic lows, and retail sales fell more steeply than expected. Fellow clothing retailers also fall, as Next PLC loses 3.3%, Asos PLC sheds 5.7%, and boohoo Group PLC is 4.3% lower.
