Red Electrica de España S A : Eléctrica mobilises all necessary resources to repair the line affected by the strong winds in the province of Valladolid

Storm Hortense has affected the Cerrato - San Sebastián de los Reyes high-voltage electricity line in the area around the municipality of Peñafiel in the province of Valladolid. The incident did not cause any power cuts in the area.

Red Eléctrica immediately activated all the technical resources and manpower necessary to swiftly repair the affected infrastructure between the municipalities of Piñel de Arriba and Piñel de Abajo and bring it back on line in the shortest possible time frame.

The Company is keeping the authorities fully updated and informed and is working in coordination with all the public administration authorities and support services involved (the Government's regional office and the Provincial Council of Valladolid and the local command headquarters of the Spanish Civil Guard).
